Scaling Up: Ensuring Tenderloin Parks are Safe and Active

Led by the Saint Francis Foundation, TLHIP partners participated in a multi- year national grant initiative called SCALE, funded by Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and convened by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. During this period, partners have focused on implemented a collaborative model to ensure clean, safe, and active parks throughout the Tenderloin neighborhood. As a result, community partners are more aligned and have evidence supporting better park outcomes.
