Kate Smith
Kate is a registered nurse who has worked across numerous aspects of the healthcare ecosystem, including patient care, research and sales, while at Riley Children’s Hospital, Meridian Plastic Surgery and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. As a non-profit leader she served as Board Chair for 7 years at Raphael House, San Francisco’s oldest family homeless shelter, and she remains Chairman Emerita there. She is the co-founder and past Board Chair of the St. Francis Hospital Foundation Associates, and is a Board advisor to the Wender-Weis Foundation and the Bridgebuilder Cinematic Arts Program. She also is a member of the Presidential Leadership Scholars, a unique leadership development organization launched by former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
