As committed volunteers, they represent the community’s constituents: neighborhood residents, grateful patients, physicians, corporate partners and others who have a keen interest in making San Francisco a healthy place to live and work. Board Chair

Arjun is currently “in residence” at Expa and advises funds, startups and large corporations. He is also a part-time partner with the House Fund – investing in UC Berkeley (his alma mater) student & alum founded startups. Arjun was most recently a partner at 500Startups and prior to that was the founder/CEO of ReTargeter. He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science.

Deanna Berzins, CFP, is a Senior Portfolio Manager with TIAA, FSB, in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Deanna has over 20 years of asset management experience.  Deanna earned her BS in Mathematics/Applied Economics from UCLA, and Personal Financial Planning Certification from UC Berkeley.  She has been active with a variety of organizations, including Meals on Wheels and Junior Achievement.

Matt Brady is the Regional Managing Director for Wells Fargo Private Bank in San Francisco. He is currently a member of the Wells Fargo Foundation and the Chair of the SF Market Reputation Council.

Ed Conlon

A fifth generation San Franciscan, Ed has been with Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction since 1990, overseeing a myriad of areas from project management to the design build process. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a BS in Construction Management.

Michele Hanson

A Senior Consultant with over 20-years experience in the banking and financial industries, Michele leads the US expansion of the Global Asset Management Executive Search practice in the US for Hanover Search Group, partnering with industry leaders and top-tier asset management firms across the US to find the highest caliber talent. She is a key contributor to the Hanover Search Diversity & Inclusion agenda, creating a strategy to grow capabilities, understanding and culture, as well as advise clients.

Brandi Bentley Hudson

Brandi has over 17 years of experience within the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. She is currently Western Area Vice President – Sales for Inspire Medical Systems. She has held sales, sales leadership, and strategy roles at Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Pfizer, and Eli Lilly. Brandi graduated from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, MI and attended Emory University Goizueta School of Business in Atlanta, GA. Brandi currently resides in San Francisco with her husband Charles Hudson III and their son Charles Hudson IV.

Will retired in 2020 from AXA IM Rosenberg Equities after working there for nearly 30 years. During that time, Will served in several roles including CEO Europe, Chief Investment Officer Americas, and a Director of Research. Will earned an MBA in Finance from Wharton Business School and a BA with distinction in Mathematics from Swarthmore College.

Brandon Kline

Brandon Kline is Deputy Attorney General at the Office of the Attorney General, California Department of Justice. A lifelong higher education advocate, Kline previously served in leadership roles with the University of California, as well as San Francisco State University, where he launched the SF Rebound Institute Legal Clinic. Kline earned his JD and LLM degrees from Lewis & Clark Law School, where he was awarded an Energy Law Fellowship with the Green Energy Institute. In 2016, Kline was named as a Presidential Leadership Scholar, a unique leadership development organization launched by former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. He is admitted to practice law in California and Washington.

Aneesh Krishna is a partner at McKinsey & Company and the North America Co-lead for Healthcare Transformations. He is currently a member of the board of Project Open Hand and for five years was a principal at Booz & Company, a global strategy consulting team. Aneesh graduated with an MBA in the top tenth percentile from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.

Frank Malin

Frank Malin, MD

Frank Malin, MD, has been a member of the active medical staff at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital for over 30 years. He has held a number of staff positions, as well as served on the Hospital’s Board of Trustees. Frank is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association. Frank received both his BA and his MD from the University of Minnesota.

Nili Malach Poynter

Nili is a Co–Founder and current General Counsel of Vinyl Interactive, LLC. Nili earned her B.A. with honors in political science and psychology from Boston University, Boston, MA. Afterwards, she went on to receive both her Juris Doctorate and an MBA with a concentration in Law from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, CA, and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2004.

Chris is a Principal and Partner at TAG Properties. He was appointed City Commissioner for the Denver Landmark Preservation Commission and has been seated on the following Boards: Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Wells Fargo Community Advisory Board, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver.

Nicole has extensive experience in corporate communications, event planning, promotion, and production. Her most recent position was as Director of Marketing and Communications for Caminar, a nonprofit providing services to the psychiatrically disabled. She has been active as a community volunteer with a number of local nonprofit organizations. Nicole has a BA from UC Berkeley.

Sarita Satpathy

Sarita Satpathy, MD

Sarita Satpathy, MD is a hospitalist providing acute inpatient care with Vituity and Kentfield Rehabilitation Hospital, and is a practicing physician for both Facebook and Silverado Hospice. She serves as a board member on the SF Marin Medical Society and as the Board Chair for Saint Francis Foundation’s annual fundraiser Wine Women & Shoes. Dr. Satpathy received her BA in Psychology from University of Texas, Austin, her MA in Public Health from San Jose State University and her medical degree from St. George’s University.

Kate is a registered nurse who has worked across numerous aspects of the healthcare ecosystem, including patient care, research and sales, while at Riley Children’s Hospital, Meridian Plastic Surgery and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. As a non-profit leader she served as Board Chair for 7 years at Raphael House, San Francisco’s oldest family homeless shelter, and she remains Chairman Emerita there. She is the co-founder and past Board Chair of the St. Francis Hospital Foundation Associates, and is a Board advisor to the Wender-Weis Foundation and the Bridgebuilder Cinematic Arts Program. She also is a member of the Presidential Leadership Scholars, a unique leadership development organization launched by former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

With over 30 years public accounting and private industry experience, Scott is currently a Partner at BPM Accounting and Consulting. He provides a variety of accounting and tax services to both public and private technology, biotechnology, healthcare, and nonprofit clients. Scott has a MS in Taxation from Golden Gate University and a BA in Business / Economics from UC Santa Barbara.

Paul Tormey is the Regional Vice-President and General Manager of the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. Paul has over 30 years in the hotel industry, including Fairmont Hotels in Boston, Bermuda, the Plaza in New York, and Sheratons in New Orleans, Stamford, CT, Boston and Seattle. Paul has a B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

Aneal Vallurupalli

Aneal leads financial planning and analysis for Mapbox. Previously, he was the founding member of Guidewire’s corporate development group, focusing on acquisitions, finance, sales and analysis. He began his career as an analyst at Union Square Advisors. Aneal has a BS in Finance from Santa Clara University, where he played Division I tennis. He is currently Co-Chair of the Saint Francis Foundation Associates.

Heidi Wittenberg, MD

Heidi Wittenberg, MD

Dr. Heidi Wittenberg, MD, is an experienced urogynecologist and reconstructive pelvic surgeon in San Francisco who works exclusively with trans patients. Dr. Wittenberg received her training in transgender surgery at one of the highest volume transgender surgery centers in the U.S. and is now the director of MoZaic Care. She obtained her Bachelors in Genetics at the University of California, Berkeley, and has a Masters Degree in Applied Physiology and a Medical Degree from the Chicago Medical School.
