NorCal Trifecta, April 24, 2010
The Associates sponsored a rare event in nature… the Trifecta. This is a day where one can snow ski, mountain bike, and surf all in one day.
Happy Hour at Tonic, March 18, 2010
The happy hour at Tonic raised $1100 dollars in donations and we gained another large number of new members. We showed once again that we know how to have a good time and give to a good cause!
2010 Kick Off, February 4, 2010
We had a very successful kick off event at the Bubble Lounge downtown. By the end of the event we had as many members as we did all year last year. What a great start!
Hob-Nob on the Hill, December 1, 2009
A number of the Associates attend the Hob-Nob, where we presented the Bothin Burn Center with a check for $15,000!!!
White Caps and Night Caps, October 22, 2009
This was our first annual fundraising gala and it was an amazing success! The event entailed a twilight cruise across the bay, followed by cocktails, hors d’oeurves, a live and silent auction and dancing to live music at Servino Ristorante on the water in Tiburon. We received over $36,000 in In-Kind donations and raised a net amount of $16,000.
Escape from the Rock Triathlon, September 13, 2009
Held in and along the San Francisco Bay. There were 8 teams of 3 and raised a net amount of $3,500.
Wine Tasting in St. Helena, July 25, 2009
Held at a private residence in St. Helena overlooking the Napa Valley. 30 people enjoyed fabulous wine, a private tasting by Joseph Phelps sommelier, perfect weather and good company while also raising money for the Foundation
Hit it Out of the Park with the SF Giants, May 15, 2009
Held at Saint Francis Medical Clinic at AT&T Park. 35 people attended and had reserved box seats on the Club Level. Raised awareness for the Center for Sports Medicine and funding for Saint Francis Foundation
Group Volunteer Event: Re-painting and re-furnishing the acute rehab dining area, May 2, 2009
Held on the 7th floor of the hospital. 15 people volunteered their time and helped to solicit in-kind donations from various community partners. The dining area was transformed, at virtually no cost to the hospital, from a tired and dated space to one which is now pleasant and welcoming
An Evening with Olympic Gold Medalist Jonny Moseley, April 8, 2009
Held at Hotel Vitale. Dr. Elly La Roque introduced Jonny Moseley who gave an entertaining multimedia presentation on his career as a skier. Over 120 people attended. Raised awareness for the hospital’s Center for Sports Medicine
Idea Discussion, February 10, 2009
Held at the Press Club wine bar below the Four Seasons Hotel. Approximately 30 people participated. Kate Smith and other board members facilitated an open discussion on what the Associates Board was planning for 2009 in order to get feedback from a broader group
Kick-off Reception, November 13, 2008
Held in the Pierotti Pavilion at SFMH with an after-party at The Ambassador. Speakers included Leo Martinez, Chair of Saint Francis Foundation and Lisa Nash, burn victim and benefactor of Saint Francis Foundation. Over 140 people attended. Formally launched the Associates and introduced our organization to the community.
